The sun was shining for several charities at Brighton Lakes.

 

More than $14,000 was raised at last week’s 28th annual Office Products Charity Golf Day held at Brighton Lakes Golf Club in Sydney. 

 

Organised by the Australian Office Products Charitable Fund, the golf day (postponed earlier this year due to inclement weather) attracted around 60 players and lunch guests, including several teams from interstate.

 

Scratch winner of the ambrose event was the team from Winc, while a combined team from Neon Orient, Office National and Ball & Doggett took out the handicap trophy. 

 

This year’s event also saw players vying for a $500 cash prize on one of the par 3s, sponsored by GNS Wholesale. The winner was Renato Moolhuyzen from That Office Place in Picton.

 

Major sponsors this year were ACCO Brands, Winc and Office National while hole sponsors included Dynamic Supplies, Mitsubishi Pencil, Pilot Pen, Hamelin Brands, GNS Wholesale and Avery with Verbatim sponsoring the drinks cart.

 

Charity Fund chairman and golf day MC John Donaghy thanked representatives from Staedtler for their assistance on and off the course and the sponsors for their on-going support. 

 

This year’s annual office products Christmas charity lunch has been booked for Friday, 27 November at Club York in Sydney.
