Funding increased for 2027 school year.

The Queensland Government has announced that more than $19 million of ‘Back to School Boost’ support has been used so far this year.

The state government said parents and carers have used the cost of living relief program to help pay for school related expenses such as uniforms, stationery, excursions and extra-curricular activities.

The most recent state budget also saw funding increase by 50 per cent to $150 for every Queensland primary school student from January 2027.
