‘Cuddle Cots’ placed in five hospitals around Australia.

 

Five hospitals around Australia have now received much-appreciated ‘Cuddle Cot’ systems thanks to the fund-raising efforts of the Australian Office Products Charitable Fund.

 

Funded by a $33,000 donation to Bears of Hope, the 'Cuddle Cot' cooling system helps slow down changes of their baby, extending the time for parents to be able to bond with their child, take photos and say goodbye.

 

Toni Watson, co-founder and fundraising manager of Bears of Hope, said: “We are so grateful for the $33,000 donation received from the Office Products Charitable Fund.

 

“These vital pieces of equipment have now been placed in Australian hospitals where they are already making a profound difference for grieving families. Thank you for this extraordinary gift — your compassion will be felt in countless moments of love, dignity, and goodbye.”

 

Charity Fund chairman John Donaghy and admin director Nancye Cargill (pictured) visited the Bears of Hope’s offices in Castle Hill last year to see how the organisation uses donations to support families that have been impacted by the loss of a child.
