Woolies launches online shopping platform for SMEs

Woolworths at Work targets business supplies sector.
.
Stationery and cleaning supplies have been included in a range of products being promoted in Woolworths’ newly-launched business-oriented online shopping platform Woolworths at Work.

Woolworths at Work will target clients ranging from offices, small- and medium-sized businesses, hospitals, and charities, to early childhood education facilities.

The concept has been live in beta phase since September 2020 with Woolworths taking steps to improve the customer experience progressively ahead of the formal launch this month.

Woolworths at Work ranges more than 20,000 products from fresh food to stationery and cleaning products, including more than 5000 Woolworths own brand products.

The platform is built around a seamless, personalised shopping experience, that enables shoppers to save lists and access previous orders, and supported by nationwide delivery options, including free next day delivery for orders over $99 and no extra fees for packaging, bulk orders or handling.

“Our main focus with Woolworths at Work is to build a partnership with our customers, so we can in turn evolve the proposition to be aligned to their challenges and opportunities,” Jarad Nass, general manager of  of Woolworths at Work, said.

Nass said that with many businesses facing staff shortages and ongoing COVID-19 disruptions, Woolworths at Work hopes it will help customers manage ordering supplies more efficiently and gain time back to focus on their core business.
