The rise and rise of Indigenous-branded office products

Office and business supplies dealers get connected.

This being NAIDOC Week (3-10 July), it’s an opportune time to put the spotlight on the expanding office supplies sector associated with Indigenous business group Supply Nation.

Fourteen companies are currently registered or certified with Supply Nation, which reaches more than 2900 verified Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses on Indigenous Business Direct.

Various Indigenous office and business supplies companies have associations with major dealer groups, including Perth-based Kulbardi, which markets its Bibbulmun range exclusively through Office Choice.

Both Office National and Officeworks range selected products from Tuggerah-based Cultural Choice, which joined Office Choice in 2020.

Jingeri Office National, located in Ormiston, Queensland, joined the Office Brands group in July last year.

Winc, a founding member of Supply Nation, offers a range of products under the Nallawilli, Tjindgarmi and Mandura brands.

Complete Office Supplies has a joint venture arrangement with Muru Office Supplies, which is involved with the University of Sydney’s newly-launched partnership with Supply Nation to drive collaboration with Indigenous-owned businesses.
