Neon Orient opens New Zealand office

Experienced OP exec joins trans-Tasman team.

Office stationery and consumer products sourcing group Neon Orient Oceania has opened a New Zealand office under the management of former OfficeMax executive Joshua Holliday (pictured).

Holliday, who has also worked for leading NZ stationery supplier Croxley, will work closely with Neon Orient’s Australian office, which earlier this year appointed former ACCO Brands executive Brian Brown as sales director.

“As the business for us continues to expand in New Zealand, it has become apparent that, to better support our customers, we need to have some ‘feet on the ground’ in New Zealand,” Stephen Gates, managing director of Neon Orient Australia, told Office Products News.

“Joshua has over ten years’ experience in both the New Zealand and Australian education and office products market.  He has experience managing international and local education and office products across wholesale and retail businesses.  He has also been involved in the development of several market leading New Zealand brands and products as well as launching several global agency brands in New Zealand,” Gates said.

“We believe Joshua’s experience sourcing both private label and OEM product ranges and working closely with manufacturers and international partners will deliver excellent outcomes for Neon and our customers in the New Zealand market,” he added.
