GAMA Heathcare releases new portable air purifier

Rediair rated to reduce risks.

GAMA Healthcare has announced the Australian launch of Rediair, a portable medical-grade dual HEPA 14 air purifier claimed to be 10 times more effective than models that use the HEPA 13 technology.

The Rediair purifier is suitable for high-traffic healthcare and commercial settings, such as hospitals, aged care, pharmacies, general practice centres, dental clinics, pathology centres, offices and schools.

Suzanne Hammouche, CEO of GAMA Healthcare in Australia said, “Clean surfaces, ventilation and air filtration play a key role in preventing the spread of viruses like COVID-19 indoors. Research shows that there is a 67 per cent reduction in aerosols compared to environments where there are no air purifiers.

Jason Monty, Professor of Fluid Mechanics at The University of Melbourne added, “Our research, and research around the globe, has shown portable HEPA filters are highly effective at removing SARS-CoV-2 from indoor air. I highly recommend portable HEPA filters for use in indoor settings such as schools, meeting rooms, hospitals, aged-care, and similar enclosed spaces, to help reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission in the community.”
