3M appoints Dynamic Supplies and GNS for office channel
New distribution arrangement effective 1 July.
3M has announced a significant change to its office products sales structure with the appointment of Dynamic Supplies and GNS Wholesale Stationers as authorised distributors for the independent channel.
The move to the new distribution model is effective 1 July.
Peter Tuck, office sales leader – 3M Consumer Business Group A/NZ, said: “The Australian office markets channel has seen changes and consolidation over the last few years, accelerated with the onset of COVID-19 in 2020. To ensure our commitment to 3M office customers, 3M Australia reviewed its current operating model with a view to drive efficiencies and ensure we maintained our service to the independents.”
“It is for this reason we are moving to a new distribution model within this channel,” he said.
Tuck added: “3M Australia is committed to ensure that the independents receive the service they require and have access to the 3M brands in the office markets channel. We will be working with both Dynamic and GNS on a smooth transition. Until 1 July, it is business as usual.”

3M office products include Post-it Notes, Scotch tape, Scotchgard, Scotchbrite and Command hooks.
