OPIx brings dealers together on the expo floor

Combined trade show has a better “vibe”.

For the first since their formation, dealer groups Office Choice and Office Brands, came together at Melbourne’s Crown complex last week (8-9 September) for the 2023 OPIx trade show.

Held in association with GNS Wholesale, the trade show attracted members of both main dealer groups as well members of buying group ASA-Australia and leading newsagents.

Staged across two floors in the Crown Promenade hotel, the trade show attracted more than 50 suppliers, including Dynamic Supplies, Alloys, ACCO Brands, Austpaper, Avery, Ball & Doggett, Brady Australia, Brother, Buro Seating, Collins Debden, Canohm, Canon, Double A, Energiser Australia, Epson, Educational Vantage, Faber Castell, Fellowes, FurnX, GNS Wholesale, General Office Products, Hamelin Brands, Italplast, Jasco, JPM International, John S Hayes, K2 Office, Kevron Plastics, Leader, Micador, Mitsubishi Pencil, Moki International, Newell, Nadoli, Pentel, The Note Group, Paper Handling Equipment, Pilot Pen, Pronto, Solaris Paper, Staedtler, Synnex, Sylex, Visionchart, Weatherdon and YS Design.

Several suppliers commented to Office Products News that despite the expo being held over two floors, the increased foot traffic resulting from the attendance of members from the two main dealer groups created  a better “vibe”.
