Office products suppliers pack down for charity

Annual school backpack campaign underway with the help of leading suppliers.
More than 600 backpacks containing in excess of $70,000 worth of quality school supplies will be delivered to three charities in coming weeks, made possible by the generous support of leading suppliers.
Organised by the Australian Office Products Charitable Fund, the annual charity backpack donations have begun to be assembled with the help of some of the biggest names in the office products Industry.
“Every year we request help from the industry and every year we are blown away by the generosity of the industry,” Charity Fund chairman John Donaghy, told Office Products News.
“This year we will be supporting three worthwhile charities - Kingsway Care, Sydney, Carries Place, Newcastle and Dandelion Support Network, Sydney – with over 600 backpacks containing more than $70,000 worth of quality school items.
“I would like to personally thank all the suppliers with a special mention to Verbatim, who donated 600 multi-media headsets and 600 32gb USBs.
“Six hundred children throughout NSW will have a better New Year through the wonderful efforts of the office products industry,” Donaghy added.
