Nestlé Professional has developed an AI-based resource to help tackle common foodservice pressures and better support everyday kitchen operations.

 

Conducted in April-May 2026, Nestlé Professional’s Shaping the Future Kitchen: Passion, Pressure and the Next Generation of Chefs survey highlighted the common challenges faced by foodservice teams, from staff shortages and long hours to gaps in training and support.

 

Identifying an opportunity for chefs and operators to use AI to better support their kitchen operations, Nestlé Professional has launched a free AI Prompt Library.

 

The Nestlé Professional AI Prompt Library includes two tailored collections – one for pub and casual dining venues, and a second for aged care kitchens.

 

Nestlé Professional general manager, Kristina Czepl, said: “AI is already becoming part of everyday life, but many chefs are still working out how it can practically support them at work. We’re launching this resource to help move AI from curiosity to something that can be used in professional kitchens across the country to help ease pressure on teams.”
