Bulk warehouse retailer Costco will open its fifth Victorian warehouse in 2027. 

 

It will be located on the site of a Pakenham logistics centre, in the south-east of Melbourne.

 

About 1.5 million Australians are Costco members and the Packenham outlet will be the US company’s 16th warehouse in Australia (excluding Tasmania). 

 

In a recent interview with the Australian Financial Review, Chris Tingman, country manager for Costco Australia, said: “When deciding on new warehouse locations, the focus is to find lots that are close to our members, and are large enough to house our comprehensive range of goods, specialty services, fuel stations, and car parks".

 

Costco Australia offers a diverse array of stationery items at wholesale prices and is currently selling  standard cartons of HP Everyday A4 80gsm Copy Paper for $32.98.
